Our Services

Art Lessons

Highly individualized art lessons are designed to support each student’s unique goals, interests, and areas of growth. Whether building artistic skills, exploring new materials, or deepening creative expression, each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to meet the student where they are.

Lessons are person-centered in nature, encouraging initiative, autonomy, and independence while fostering creativity in ways that feel meaningful, engaging, and connected to everyday life and experiences.

Art lessons are inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds, creating a supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, create, and express themselves.

Marriage and Family Therapy

Services are currently in development. This offering will provide a person-centered, relationship-focused approach to supporting individuals, couples, and families. Emphasis will be placed on improving communication, deepening connection, and fostering emotional understanding, with the potential integration of creative and expressive modalities.

Meet Jordanna…

As the founder of Color and Shine, Jordanna brings over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults—primarily individuals with developmental disabilities—across home, community, and clinical settings. She has helped individuals build skills in areas such as functional communication, independence, self-advocacy, confidence, cognitive restructuring and emotional regulation. Her background includes specialized training in evidence-informed approaches such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), DIRFloortime®, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), enabling her to provide thoughtful, individualized support tailored to each person’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Jordanna holds a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#145322). She is also certified in DIRFloortime® (DIR 201 Basic Practitioner), further strengthening her relationship-based and developmental approach to supporting individuals and families.

Alongside her clinical and developmental experience, Jordanna brings a lifelong passion for creativity and artistic expression, with specialties in painting, mixed media, and arts and crafts. She incorporates hands-on art experiences into her work, creating engaging and personalized opportunities that foster self-expression, communication, creativity, confidence, and meaningful social connections within a supportive environment.

What others are saying…

“A few weeks ago, I posted asking for an art class recommendation. Jordanna reached out and said she was available. We moved forward with the service and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She was fun and engagig with my 4 y/o daughther. Don’t hesitate to contact Jordanna if you are still looking for an art instructor!”
